Today, Jeppesen ForeFlight announced its launch as a new digital aviation entity, backed by Thoma Bravo, a leading software investment firm. The company has completed its separation from Boeing and sale to Thoma Bravo in an all-cash transaction valued at $10.55 billion. Brad Surak, who previously led the Digital Aviation Solutions business at Boeing, will lead Jeppesen ForeFlight as Chief Executive Officer.
