[{"type":"text","content":"\n Alumasc Group PLC\n30 May 2007\n\n\n\nWednesday 30 May 2007\n\nFor immediate release\n\n THE ALUMASC GROUP PLC\n\n Shareholders pass EGM resolution\n\n\nFurther to the announcement of 4 May 2007, The Alumasc Group plc, the premium\nbuilding and engineering products group, (\"the Company\") today announces that\nthe special resolution proposed to shareholders at today's extraordinary general\nmeeting, as set out in the notice of extraordinary general meeting contained\nwithin the circular sent to shareholders on 4 May 2007, was duly passed.\n\n\nThis resolution was to approve the cancellation of the Company's share premium\naccount and the cancellation of the Company's capital redemption reserve.\n\n\nA copy of the resolution has been sent to the FSA and will be available shortly\nat the Document Viewing Facility located at the following address:\n\n\nDocument Viewing Facility,\nUK Listing Authority\nFinancial Services Authority\n25 The North colonnade\nCanary Wharf\nLondon\nE14 5HS\n\n\nAccordingly, the Company will now seek the confirmation of the proposed\ncancellations by the High Court of Justice.
