[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nAnnual and Special Meeting of Unitholders to be held on May 12, 2008\n\n\nMONTREAL, April 7 /CNW Telbec/ - TransForce Income Fund (TSX: TIF.UN)\n("TransForce" or the "Fund"), the leader in the Canadian transportation and\nlogistics industry, announces that the Quebec Superior Court today issued an\ninterim order in connection with TransForce's previously-announced plan of\narrangement, which will result in the conversion of TransForce from an income\nfund to a corporation (the "Reorganization"). The interim order of the Court\nconfirmed the calling of an annual and special meeting of unitholders of the\nFund and a special meeting of shareholders of TFI Holdings Inc., an affiliated\ncorporation, for the purpose of considering the Reorganization.\n\n\nThe two meetings will be held in Laval, Quebec on May 12, 2008. A\nmanagement proxy circular of the Fund and TFI Holdings Inc. will be mailed to\nunitholders of the Fund and shareholders of TFI Holdings Inc. shortly. A copy\nof the circular will also be available under the Fund's profile on SEDAR at\nwww.sedar.com.\n\n\nThe Reorganization is subject to receipt of all required court and\nregulatory approvals and approval by at least 66 2/3% of the votes cast by\nunitholders of the Fund and by at least 66 2/3% of the votes cast by\nshareholders of TFI Holdings Inc., other than affiliates of the Fund.\n\n\nThe interim order provides that should the Reorganization be approved by\nthe required majorities, the Fund will appear before the Court in order to\nobtain a final order at 9:15 a.m. on May 14, 2008, in Room 16.12 of the Palais\nde justice, 1 Notre-Dame Street East, Montreal, Quebec.
