(TSX: TFI OTCQX: TFIFF), a North American leader in the\n transportation and logistics industry, today announced that it has\n entered into an agreement with Waste Management of Canada Corporation,\n a subsidiary of Waste Management, Inc. (WM: NYSE), to use approximately\n 30% of the remaining capacity of the Lachute Landfill Site, located in\n Lachute, Quebec.\n\n\nUnder the terms of the agreement, TransForce will have 30 years to use\n this capacity, which amounts to an estimated 1,875,000 tonnes. The\n transaction provides TransForce's Malex business unit with its own\n disposal capacity, which should improve operating efficiency and cost\n management. It should also allow TransForce to broaden its service\n offering to municipalities in the Laurentides and Outaouais regions of\n Québec.\n\n\n\"TransForce is pleased with this additional landfill capacity, which\n allows us to further enhance our service offering in the waste\n management sector.
