[{"type":"text","content":"\n\nThe below RNS has been issued as a replacement to the one published the 30 of May 2024 as there was a typo in the date \nTesco PLC\n30 May 2024\nTesco PLC\nTransaction in own shares\nFurther to the announcements made on 10 April 2024 and 22 April 2024, Tesco PLC (the \"Company\") announces that on 29 May 2024 it has purchased, in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the 2023 Annual General Meeting of the Company, the following number of ordinary shares of 6 1/3 pence on the London Stock Exchange pursuant to its existing £1,000 million share buyback programme.\nThe purchased shares will be cancelled.\n\n\n\n\nDescription of shares:\n\n\nTesco PLC - ordinary shares of 6 1/3 pence\n\n\n\n\nDate of transaction\n\n\n29 May 2024\n\n\n\n\nNumber of Shares purchased:\n\n\n4,500,000\n\n\n\n\nAverage price paid per Share (pence):\n\n\n310.25\n\n\n\n\nHighest price paid per Share (pence):\n\n\n312.10\n\n\n\n\nLowest price paid per Share (pence):\n\n\n308.90\n\n\n\n\nBroker:\n\n\nCitigroup Global Markets Limited\n\n\n\n\nFollowing the purchase of these shares, the remaining number of ordinary shares in issue will be 6,991,775,730.
