[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 7494S Tertiary Minerals PLC 12 November 2013 \n \n\n \nwww.tertiaryminerals.com\n \n(\"Tertiary\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \n12 November 2013\n \n \nAPPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR\n \nTertiary Minerals plc, the AIM traded company building a strategic position in the fluorspar sector, is pleased to announce that Mr Richard Clemmey has been appointed as Managing Director of the Company.\n \nThis appointment and the separation of the roles of Chairman and Managing Director will allow the Chairman more time to focus on the strategic and corporate development of the Group and brings the Company's governance in line with best practice.\n \nMr Clemmey has been employed by the Company since September 2011, initially as Project Manager. He joined the Board as Operations Director in May 2012.\n \nBefore joining the Company, Mr Clemmey was employed by a private quarrying company as General Manager for the development of a coastal limestone quarry in Oman and before that he was UK Operations Manager-Aggregates for Marshalls plc with overall commercial and operational responsibility for 8 quarries in the UK. Mr. Clemmey has also managed a large quarrying operation for Lafarge in the UK and was Operations Manager for a chromite mining project in the UAE. He is a qualified Chartered Engineer with a degree in Mining Geology\n \nExecutive Chairman Patrick Cheetham said: \"I am delighted that Richard is stepping up to this newly created and key position with the Company.
