(“Terns” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: TERN), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a portfolio of small-molecule product candidates to address serious diseases, including oncology, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and obesity, today announced that Senthil Sundaram has resigned from his position as Terns’ Chief Executive Officer for health reasons previously disclosed in January 2022. Mr. Sundaram also resigned from the Board of Directors of Terns but will remain on as a Senior Advisor to the Company. Erin Quirk, M.D., President and Head of Research & Development at Terns, will assume leadership of the Company, effective immediately. “On behalf of the entire Board, I extend our gratitude to Sen for his many contributions to Terns during his CEO tenure.
