(TSX: TCS), an industry-\nleading Supply Chain Management (SCM) software company announced today that it\nhas acquired a major stake in TECSYS Latin America Inc. (TLA), a privately\nheld high-growth reseller of TECSYS' supply chain management software and\nother solutions in the region. With this transaction, TECSYS Inc. has become\nthe second largest shareholder of TLA, holding an equity position of 27%.\nTECSYS' presence currently spans the North American continent, and more\nrecently Europe, serving customers in Canada, the U.S., Spain, France,\nPortugal and Germany. With this transaction, TECSYS forges a global supply\nchain management partnership for both organizations, and provides them both\nwith a stronger market position in the region-substantially strengthening\ntheir competitive stance to serve global clients with the need for\nmultinational solution deployment, while at the same time providing them with\nthe localized customer services and support.\nDave Brereton, TECSYS' Executive Chairman and Co-CEO commented on the\ntransaction: \"With the increased globalization and offshore sourcing trend in\nsupply chain management, it has become evident that multinational solutions\ndeployment is a strategic asset to our competitive position.
