(TSX: TCS), a leading supply\nchain management software company, today announced the upcoming release of\nEliteSeries Warehouse Management System for iSeries 4.1, on the heels of its\nJanuary 2006 release of EliteSeries WMS for iSeries 4.0. Together, the two new\nreleases deliver a range of advanced functionality that will provide warehouse\noperations that run on the IBM platform greater flexibility and power.\nMajor new functionality in release 4.0 of EliteSeries WMS for iSeries\nincludes advanced kitting with multi-level bills of materials and work orders,\nenhanced pallet and load building, wave picking, as well as TMS courier\nintegration for major providers such as UPS and FedEx.\nRelease 4.1 of EliteSeries WMS for iSeries extends the solution's\nadvanced functionality even further by offering a browser-based user\ninterface, new queries on key reporting indicators using iTopia, TECSYS' tool\nfor transforming data into knowledge, proof-of-delivery applications, \nWeb-based order life cycle tracking and tracing, a flexible third-party\nbilling component and versatile activity-based costing.\n\"These new releases of our EliteSeries WMS for iSeries build on an\nalready solid solution, extending advanced functionality that we've been\nworking on for the past ten years,\" said Greg MacNeill, President of the\nLogistics Management Group at TECSYS. \"Companies that operate on iSeries and\nthat need the power of an advanced warehouse management system will be\nimpressed with some of the features we've added.
