Teck Cominco Q2 financial results July 25 and investors' conference call July 26

2005 results on July 25, 2005 after markets close. The company will hold an
investor conference call to discuss the second quarter results at 11:00 am
Eastern time, 8:00 am Pacific time, on July 26, 2005. Mr. Donald Lindsay,
