The comprehensive testing validates that the\nTsi578, with multi-cast capability, and RMI's multi-core and multi-threaded\nXLS Processor are interoperable and can be quickly deployed as a turnkey\nsolution in wireless infrastructure applications such as WiMAX, WCDMA,\nTD-SCDMA, and LTE.\n\n\nTundra's broad portfolio of RapidIO switches address designers'\nrequirements for low interconnect processing overhead, power consumption and\nlatency, as well as facilitating high signal integrity board layout\nrequirements. Tundra's RapidIO switches offer a broad feature set including:\nfield proven port flexibility supporting mixed port widths at up to 10 Gbps\ndata speeds, hardware multi-cast, supervised traffic flow for increased\nperformance and fabric management, and enhanced SerDes for the lowest power\nswitch solutions available today. Tundra's Tsi578 was the first switch in the\nmarket to achieve the RapidIO Interoperability Lab's device interoperability\nlevel (DIL) certification in 2007.\n\n\n"Tundra provides customers with a broad portfolio of RapidIO products\nthat offer the highest performance and reliability with the industry's lowest\npower consumption. Tundra is committed to the interoperability of our switches\nwith every endpoint within the extensive RapidIO ecosystem," said Tracy\nRichardson, vice president of marketing, Tundra Semiconductor. "The successful\ninteroperability testing between Tundra's Tsi578 and RMI's XLS Processor\noffers a high performance processor/switch option for wireless infrastructure\nOEMs. Desi...
