[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nOTTAWA, Aug. 31 /CNW Telbec/ - Tundra Semiconductor Corporation (TSX:\nTUN), the leader in System Interconnect, today announced that Emerson Network\nPower's (NYSE: EMR) new Embedded Computing business, formerly Artesyn\nCommunication Products, has implemented Tundra's industry-leading Tsi568A\nSerial RapidIO Switch into the Fat Pipe switch module in its new 12-slot\nMicroTCA development system, and is working with Tundra on a series of\nadditional Serial RapidIO designs.\nThe Tundra Tsi568A is a high-performance switch with patent-pending\ntechnology that delivers the performance, power and configurability that\nembedded designers need to build reliable, high-performance RapidIO-based\nsystems for a broad spectrum of wireless, video, and networking applications.\nBased on the Serial RapidIO Specification, the Tsi568A incorporates SerDes\nfunctionality, error recovery, priority-based and table-based fabric routing\nand high payload efficiency. This switch interconnects Serial RapidIO-enabled\nprocessors and peripheral devices, supporting an aggregate bandwidth of\n80 gigabits per second.
