("Taranis") (TSX.V:\nTRO), a Colorado-based resource company with a number of gold and silver\nprojects in Nevada, British Columbia and Finland, is pleased to provide an\nupdate of its ongoing exploration activities on the Thor Property, British\nColumbia.\n\n\nTaranis has completed a total of 50 drill holes (2,740 m) in the True\nFissure Zone ("TFZ") drilled on a systematic grid for over 300 m strike\nlength, although only drill results are available for 10 drill holes at this\ntime. Precious and base-metal mineralization occurs within a laterally\npersistent massive sulphide horizon that has been subject to intense\nhydrothermal alteration and folding.\n\n\nTaranis owns a 100% interest in the Thor Property which was acquired in\n2006 after a due-diligence that demonstrated significant precious and\nbase-metal mineralization over a strike length of 1.4 km (News Release dated\n11/16/2006). The limited diamond drilling reported in this News Release\npertains only to only the TFZ, and at least 4 other zones are known at Thor.\n\n\nContemporaneous with diamond drilling on the TFZ, Taranis has undertaken\na series of geophysical and geological surveys aimed at locating other targets\noutside of the known gold/base metal bearing lodes. Initial drilling has been\nfocused on the TFZ in order to delineate and understand the complicated\ngeology of the property.
