Taranis Resources Inc. announces Closing of Private Placement

Lakewood, Colorado, December 19, 2012 - Taranis Resources Inc. ("Taranis") [TSX.V: TRO] announces the closing of the $50,050 private placement announced December 17, 2012. This private placement consisted of the sale of 455,000 units at a price of $0.11 per unit, each unit consisting of one common share and one share purchase warrant, with each warrant entitling the holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.15 until December 19, 2014. All of the securities issued pursuant to this private placement are subject to a hold period in Canada until April 20, 2013.

Taranis currently has 35,874,989 shares issued and outstanding (42,803,324 shares on a fully-diluted basis).
