("Taranis") (TSX.V:\nTRO) is pleased to report further on its exploration activities on the Thor\nproperty which continues to outline a large precious and base metal bearing\nzone, found within the Combined Metals Unit ("CMU"), that extends for over\n1.4 km. A map showing the location of the drill holes outlined in this News\nRelease is available from www.taranisresources.com as well as a cross-section\nthat shows some of the features of the newly discovered area.\n\n\nRecent drilling located south of the True Fissure Mine located high-grade\nzones typical of the True Fissure Mine, but here they are encapsulated within\nwide zones (up to 17.5 m wide) of lower-grade base and precious metal\nmineralization. This drilling was located 500 m north of a 900 by 300 m\nmagnetic anomaly that was identified in 2007 down dip of the Great Northern\nZone ("GNZ") and Broadview Zones, and is potentially the source area for\nprecious and base metal lodes found on the Thor property.\n\n\nSection 180m South\n\n\nFive drill holes were completed 180 m south of the True Fissure Zone\n("TFZ"). Results of these drill holes indicate that the TFZ-type\nmineralization extends considerably further south than previously known, and\nis continuous with high-grade intercepts reported on Section 330m South (See\nNews Release dated November 5, 2007). Drill hole depths approximate the true\nthickness of the zones.\n\n\nThor-47 (-45 degrees) was drilled west from a pre-existing road and\nintersected the GNZ close to surface. The GNZ is highly enriched in silver,\ncopper and lead relative to other intercepts in the area.\n\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n Thor-47\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n From To Au Ag Cu Pb Zn Thickness\n (m) (m) (g/t) (g/t) (%) (%) (%) (m)\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n 19.35 20.39 0.23 292.47 0.36 5.15 1.11 1.04\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nThor-48 (-72 degrees) was drilled from the same setup as Thor-47 and\nintersected the CMU at shallow depth.
