(\"Taranis\" or the \"Company\")\n \n (\n \n TSXV:TRO\n \n ) (OTC:\n \n TNREF\n \n )\n \n is pleased to report on the first drill hole from\nits summer exploration at its 100%-owned Thor polymetallic project in\nBritish Columbia. Taranis completed eight drill holes at Thor this\nsummer, as well as road-cut sampling and geophysical surveys over the\nRidge Target. Results of this work will be released as they become\navailable.\n \n \n \n Drill Hole Thor-210\n \n \n \n The initial drill hole (Thor-210) was drilled on a newly permitted\ndrill road several hundred metres south of the True Fissure open pit\non a steep hillside. This area has seen no prior drilling and was\nknown to be structurally complex. Three separate mineralized zones\nwere encountered in drilling.\n \n \n \n Upper Gold Zone\n \n \n \n This zone is massive sulphide (>50% pyrite) and also contains minor\namount of tin, a feature that has been noted in the historical data on\nThor and has not been systematically analyzed. The initial gold\nanalyses returned 5.4 g/t Au, and the lower value is shown in the\ntable. This zone is accompanied by extensive hydrothermal alteration\nthat is lime green in color. The high specific gravity of this\ngold-bearing zone means that gravity pre-concentration onsite would be\nable to easily separate this unit from the less dense wall rock.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Sample Number\n \n \n \n \n \n \n From (m)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n To (m)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Interval (m)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Au (g/t)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Ag (g/t)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Cu(%)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Pb(%)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n Zn(%)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n B0012352\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 58.92\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 59.68\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 0.76\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 3.96\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 23.9\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 0.01\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 0.74\n \n \n \n \n \n \n 0.02\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Middle Lower Grade Zone\n \n \n \n This zone occurred with an interval of quartz-sulphide breccia with\nlocal massive sulphide patches.
