(the \"Company\" or \"Taranis\") [TSX.V: TRO] is pleased to announce the results of an important NQ drill hole drilled on its Thor Project located west of the existing Ag-Au-Pb-Zn-Cu deposit.\n\n \n \nThis drill hole was collared east of the Great Northern Zone and tested the footwall of the known Great Northern Deposit for additional bedded sulfide horizons under the known Resource. The drill hole intersected the zones normal to the dip of the zones and approximates their true thickness.\n\n \n \nHole Thor-171\n\n \n \nThe following table shows the initial results from drill hole Thor-171 that was drilled east of the Great Northern Mine, and tested the northern extension of other high-grade silver-bearing zones that were found in drill holes Thor-155 through 158 at the onset of drilling in 2016. The results presented below are only for the select high-grade portions of the hole, and assay results are pending for the remainder of the hole.\n\n \n\nHole No. & Zone\n\n\n\n\nFrom (m)\n\n\n\n\nTo (m)\n\n\n\n\nInterval (m)\n\n\n\n\nSilver (g/t)\n\n\n\n\nGold (g/t)\n\n\n\n\nCu (%)\n\n\n\n\nLead (%)\n\n\n\n\nZinc (%)\n\n\n\n\nCu+Pb+Zn Combined (%)\n\n\n\n\nThor-171 GN Middle\n\n\n\n\n34.02\n\n\n\n\n36.27\n\n\n\n\n2.25\n\n\n\n\n683.8\n\n\n\n\n0.53\n\n\n\n\n0.3\n\n\n\n\n4.4\n\n\n\n\n4.5\n\n\n\n\n9.2\n\n\n\n\nThor-171 GN Lower\n\n\n\n\n64.92\n\n\n\n\n65.68\n\n\n\n\n3.04\n\n\n\n\n229.6\n\n\n\n\n0.27\n\n\n\n\n0.1\n\n\n\n\n2.6\n\n\n\n\n3.8\n\n\n\n\n6.6\n\n\n \n \nTaranis has now completed a number of holes in this area of the deposit and will continue to report the results as they become available. The Company has also posted a cross-section on www.taranisresources.com that shows the location of the zones relative to the main Great Northern Zone, and will update this frequently as assays become available.\n\n \n \nJohn Gardiner, CEO of Taranis Resources Inc. comments \"The GN Middle and GN Lower zones lie well below the known Great Northern Zone, and are stratiform in nature. The zones have been subjected to folding and faulting along the east side of the Thor Anticline, and have b...
