[{"type":"text","content":"\n Tanfield Group PLC\n17 May 2006\n\n\n\n Tanfield Group plc\n\n\n TNT Agreement\n\n\nTanfield Group today announces that its zero emission vehicle operation, Smith\nElectric Vehicles (Smith), has entered into an agreement with TNT, the parcel\ndelivery business.\n\n\nSmith will provide its new 'Newton' 7.5 tonne electric vehicles to TNT. From the\n3rd quarter of 2006, TNT will deploy the vehicles in Central London, for trials\nin various logistics and delivery operations.\n\n\nThe new vehicles utilise the Faraday drive line technology developed for the\ncurrent Smith models.
