[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 0118O Tandem Group PLC 22 June 2010 \n \n\nTandem Group plc \n(the 'Company')\n \nResult of Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Board Changes\nThe Board of Tandem Group plc (AIM: TND), designers, developers and distributors of sports and leisure equipment, is pleased to announce that all resolutions proposed at the Company's AGM were approved.\n\nAs previously announced on 28 April 2010, Graham Waldron did not offer himself for re-election at the AGM and Mervyn Keene, previously Group Finance Director, succeeds him as Non-Executive Chairman.\nSteve Grant, currently Commercial Director, becomes Chief Executive Officer.\nJim Shears has been appointed to the Board as Group Finance Director. \nJim joined the Company as Group Financial Controller in 2002. He was appointed Company Secretary in 2008. He previously worked for the Audit Commission, IFG Group plc and AWG plc where held various financial roles. Jim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accounts in England and Wales.\nCommenting on the changes, Mervyn Keene, Non-Executive Chairman, said:\n\"The Board are very grateful for the work and wise counsel that Graham has given over the years. He has ensured that the Board has delivered profitability and strengthening of the balance sheet. Steve has a wealth of experience in the sports and leisure industry and I am sure he will make a valuable contribution as Group Chief Executive.
