("Taiga" or the\n"Company") (TSX: TBL & TBL.NT) The Board of Directors of Taiga announced today\nthat they have approved a succession plan for members of Taiga's senior\nmanagement.\n\n\nEffective December 16, 2008 Dr Kooi Ong Tong will step down as CEO. Dr\nTong will continue as Executive Chairman of the Board and remain active in the\nbusiness' strategy via its Executive Committee.\n\n\nTaiga is pleased to announce Jim Bradshaw currently Taiga's President and\nCOO will be assuming the position of CEO effective December 16, 2009. Jim has\nrecently led Taiga with responsibility for operations and product line\ndevelopment. He has been employed by Taiga for 32 years. Taiga looks forward\nto build on its value added strategy under Jim's guidance.\n\n\nThe Board also announces that effective December 16, 2008, Cam White will\nbe appointed COO in addition to his role as Taiga's Executive Vice President,\nSales and Operations. Mr White will work alongside Jim Bradshaw to seek out\nnew sales growth opportunities and managing costs through the current\ndownturn. Cam has been employed by Taiga since 1973.\n\n\nThe Board also announces that effective March 31, 2009, Doug Morris,\nTaiga's Executive Vice President, Supply and Major Accounts will be retiring.\nDoug has been one of the key builders of Taiga in Eastern Canada, and has\nprovided great contributions to future growth opportunities which Taiga will\nbe pursuing.
