Taiga Building Products Ltd. announces common share dividend update

BURNABY, BC, Jan. 12, 2012 /CNW/ - Taiga Building Products Ltd (TSX: TBL) & (TSX: TBL.NT) announces that it will not declare and pay the second installment of its semi-annual dividend policy, with respect to 2011 fiscal year's net earnings.

The Board of Directors has determined that in light of moderate financial performance, cash conservation and prudent business investments continue to be a top priority. The Board of Directors continues to support initiatives focused on strengthening the financial profile of the company.
