The Board of Yule Catto &\nCo plc ('Yule Catto') is therefore pleased to announce that Adrian Whitfield\nwill join the Board on 1st March 2006 as Chief Executive Designate.\n\n\n\nMr Whitfield, aged 44, has a considerable industrial and international\nbackground, latterly as Chief Executive of the plastics division of D.S. Smith\nplc and prior to that as Vice President, European Operations, of Crown\nSimplimatic.\n\n\n\nHis early industrial experience was gained with ICI Chemicals and Polymers,\nlater applied and broadened as a consultant to manufacturing companies\nthroughout Europe. He holds a BSc Hons. in mechanical engineering from Imperial\nCollege, London and is a member of The Institute of Mechanical Engineers.\n\n\n\nAnthony Richmond-Watson, Yule Catto Chairman, comments:\n\n\n\n'I am delighted to welcome Adrian to the Board.
