Security division rebrands to Ocular Integration

Rebrand reflects transition of division and its forward-focused approach centred on innovation

Synectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in advanced security and surveillance systems, is pleased to announce that its Synectics Security division will be rebranded as Ocular Integration ("Ocular") with effect from 1 November 2024.

The rebranding of Ocular is part of a broader transformation programme which reflects the development of the division over several years and creates a more compelling vision and focus on delivering the latest technical solutions and innovations to customers.

Ocular is an independent systems integrator with expertise in delivering security solutions across multiple sectors, including public space, transport and critical national infrastructure. The rebranding provides greater distinction between Synectics and Ocular, thereby providing improved clarity for all stakeholders.

The division's transformation programme is progressing well, with a refreshed leadership team which will be led by Chris Jepson as Managing Director with effect from 1 November 2024. Chris has a background in security technology engineering, significant industry experience and has held multiple senior roles within the division. He is uniquely qualified to lead Ocular in what is expected to be an exciting period of growth.
