[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 5513O Synectics PLC 10 February 2016 \n\n\n\n\n\n \nFor immediate release\n\n\n \n10 February 2016\n\n\n\n\n \n \nSynectics plc\n(\"Synectics\" or \"the Company\")\n \nContract Extension\nSynectics plc (AIM: SNX), a leader in the design, integration, control and management of advanced surveillance technology and networked security systems, today announces that it has been awarded a contract extension with Stagecoach, one of the UK's largest bus operators.\n \nSynectics, which has a successful 13-year partnership with Stagecoach, will continue to supply, install and maintain CCTV solutions on Stagecoach's 8,500-strong fleet of vehicles in Europe. In the last three years, the Company has equipped 1,660 new vehicles with the latest on-vehicle CCTV solutions and maintained existing systems across a growing fleet. \n \nThe extended agreement will see Synectics continue to support Stagecoach for another year, up to 31 March 2017, and will cover a number of system installations on new vehicles operating across the UK and in mainland Europe.\n \n \nPaul Webb, Chief Executive of Synectics, commented: \"This contract extension demonstrates our ability to meet the complex technology needs of large bus and coach fleets.
