PLC\n11 April 2008\n\n \n 11 April 2008\n\n \n\n \n \n SYMPHONY ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES PLC \n \n Anticipated Offering of Grant \n \n\nSymphony Environmental Technologies Plc ('Symphony'), the degradable plastics\nand waste-to-energy Group, announces that Symphony Energy Ltd (the 'Company')\nhas been notified by the Technology Strategy Board ('TSB') that it anticipates\noffering the Company, and its consortium of partners, a grant for research and\ndevelopment in the area of High Value Manufacturing relating to a rubber product\nenhanced recovery technology project.\n\n \nThe Company is the lead partner, the other members of the consortium are\nacademic and commercial partners. The partners were chosen for their expertise\nwhich wholly supports the collaborative research and development of microwave\npyrolysis and rubber product enhanced recovery.\n\nNotification from the TSB states that a formal offer letter for the above is\nexpected to be issued by the end of the first week of May.
