Sylogist Signs "Shared Services" Agreements with AUMA

CALGARY, May 19 /CNW/ - Sylogist (TSX Venture Exchange:SYZ) is pleased to
announce the signing of definitive agreements with the AMSC (AUMA Member
Services Corporation) for the development, marketing, operating and
maintenance of a municipal shared service ("Munishare") supporting the
financial system requirements of Alberta municipalities to be deployed over
the Alberta SuperNet.

Highlights of the Agreements:

-  $8.2 million staged contract for initial development and
   implementation over the next 2 years.
-  10 year operating agreement for ongoing management and support.
-  Sylogist retains exclusive right to market Munishare outside Alberta
   and to other public sector markets.
-  Munishare will be offered to all AUMA members and associate members
   who include cities, towns, villages and specialized municipalities
   such as local and regional authorities.

Sylogist has increased its staff, invested in additional resources and
raised capital to support the development and operation of Munishare.

About Munishare(TM)

Munishare is an innovative service offered through the AUMA to all
municipalities in Alberta, for the provisioning of web based financial, human
resources and revenue systems. The systems will be offered as a managed
service, with costs shared by municipalities based on their size. All
software, implementation and ongoing support will be supplied by Sylogist.
MuniShare will be hosted at a central secure location by an independent
systems hosting provider. Communication access will be supported via the
Alberta SuperNet.
