(SWDCC or the company), effective immediately. Ms. Fulton replaces Daniel Sitnam, who has stepped down due to the time demands of other commitments.\"We extend our sincere appreciation to Daniel for his significant contribution over the past seven years,\" said David Rowntree, chairman of the Fund's board of trustees. \"While we will miss his wise counsel, we are very pleased to welcome Diane Fulton to our board, and look forward to benefiting from her extensive background in corporate governance and finance.\"Ms. Fulton is Vice-President and Chief Investment Officer of the Vancouver Foundation and is responsible for the investment of its substantial endowment fund. Previously, she was Executive Director of Investments for the University of British Columbia's Faculty Pension Plan. In addition, she spent 11 years at Scotia McLeod Inc., most recently as Director and Vice President of Corporate Finance, as well as several years as a corporate finance consultant for companies such as Westcoast Energy (now Duke Energy) and Belkorp Industries.Ms. Fulton is a member of the board of directors of the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and Pacific Northern Gas Ltd., an advisor to the investment committee of Pacific Blue Cross, and a member of the investment committee of the Vancouver Opera Foundation. She holds an honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration from York University.
