CALGARY, Oct. 17, 2016 /CNW/ - Surge Energy Inc. ("Surge" or the "Company") (TSX: SGY) confirms that a cash dividend to be paid on November 15, 2016 in respect of October 2016 production, for the shareholders of record on October 31, 2016 will be $0.00625 per share. 

The dividend is an eligible dividend for the purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
