Surface Transforms PLC 24 May 2004 RNS Release 24th May 2004 Surface Transforms plc EGM Result and further re Proposed Placing of up to 4,142,859 new Ordinary Shares at 70p per share Result of EGM At the EGM held earlier today all resolutions were duly passed. Placing Shares Application has been made for 3,667,859 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and dealings in 2,185,715, 1,125,001 and 357,143 Ordinary Shares will commence on 25th, 26th and 27th May respectively. Application will be made in due course for the remaining 475,000 Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM and dealings are expected to commence on or before 5th August 2004. Following the admission of the 4,142,859 new Ordinary Shares, Surface Transforms will have 13,650,748 ordinary shares in issue. The fundraising has introduced eight new institutional shareholders to the Company.
