[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX: SPF.UN\n\n\nCALGARY, April 12 /CNW/ -\n\n\nApril 2007 Cash Distribution - $0.13 per Trust Unit\n\n\n---------------------------------------------------\n\n\nSuperior Plus Income Fund (the "Fund") today announced its cash\ndistribution for the month of April 2007 of $0.13 per trust unit payable on\nMay 15, 2007. The record date is April 30, 2007 and the ex-distribution date\nwill be April 26, 2007. The Fund's current annualized cash distribution rate\nis $1.56 per trust unit.\n\n\nFor income tax purposes, the income from the April, 2007 cash\ndistribution of $0.13 per trust unit is considered to be other income. A\nsummary of cash distributions since inception and tax information is posted\nunder the Investor Information section of Superior's website at\nwww.superiorplus.com.\n\n\nDRIP\n\n\n----\n\n\nThe Fund has a Distribution Reinvestment Plan ("DRIP") available to its\nUnitholders. The DRIP allows participants to have their monthly cash\ndistributions reinvested in additional units of Superior Plus Income Fund at\nan effective discount of 5% to the Fund's market price. The DRIP program\noffers Unitholders the opportunity to steadily increase their ownership in\nSuperior Plus without commissions or brokerage fees. Further information on\nthe DRIP is posted on the Fund's website. Unitholders whose units are\nregistered in the name of an investment banker, stockbroker, bank, trust\ncompany or other nominee should contact such nominee if they wish to enrol in\nthe plan.\n\n\nUpcoming Release of 2007 First Quarter Results and Conference Call\n\n\n------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n\nThe fund expects to release its 2007 first quarter results on May 8,\n2007. A conference call and webcast for investors, analysts, brokers and media\nrepresentatives to discuss the 2007 first quarter results is scheduled for\n9:30 a.m. EST (7:30 a.m. MST) on Wednesday, May 9, 2007.
