[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTSX: SPF.UN\n\n\nCALGARY, Jan. 11 /CNW/ - Superior Plus Income Fund (the \"Fund\") today\nannounced its cash distribution for the month of January 2007 of $0.13\n(13.0 cents) per trust unit payable on February 15, 2007. The record date is\nJanuary 31, 2007 and the ex-distribution date will be January 29, 2007. The\nFund's current annualized cash distribution rate is $1.56 per trust unit. For\ntax purposes, the distributions are expected to substantially be taxable as\n\"other income\" to Unitholders. The final tax components will be confirmed\nafter year-end during the tax reporting season. A summary of cash\ndistributions since inception and tax information is posted under the Investor\nInformation section of the Fund's website at: www.superiorplus.com.\n\n\nDRIP Now Available to Unitholders\n\n\n---------------------------------\n\n\nThe Fund now has a Distribution Reinvestment Plan (\"DRIP\") available to\nits Unitholders. The DRIP allows participants to have their monthly cash\ndistributions reinvested in additional units of Superior Plus Income Fund at\nan effective discount of 5% to the Fund's market price. The DRIP program\noffers Unitholders the opportunity to steadily increase their ownership in\nSuperior Plus without commissions or brokerage fees. Further information on\nthe DRIP is posted on the Fund's website.
