[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTSX-V: SUI\n\nVANCOUVER, June 22 /CNW/ - Superior Mining International Corporation,\nformerly \"Superior Mining Corporation\", (the \"Company\" or \"Superior\")\nannounces that it has engaged Snowden Group of Johannesburg, to conduct an\nupdated review of the resource estimate on the reef section of the Middelvlei\nproperty called the Black Reef which is part of the Middelvlei JV Project\nlocated on the West Rand Goldfield of the Witwatersrand Basin of South Africa.\nGraham Greenway, BSc (Hons) Geology University of Natal, MSAIMM, MGAA,\nDivisional Manager is the Qualified Person that will be preparing the report.\nGraham is a geologist with more than 13 years experience in the African mining\nindustry. His career includes experience as a Mine Geologist in gold, tin,\ncopper and uranium, as well as an Exploration Geologist working in the\nBushveld Complex of South Africa and as a Resource Evaluation Geologist for\nGold Fields including projects ranging from West African Witwatersrand type\nmultiple reef gold deposits, coal, porphyry copper-gold to massive sulphide\nbase metal deposits. His most recent posting has been as Chief Geologist for\nthe opencast R¿ssing Uranium mine in Namibia before joining Snowden in\nFebruary 2003.\nIt is expected that the NI 43-101 compliant technical report concerning\nthe Black Reef will be available within 45 days at which time the Company will\nprovide an updated resource estimate by way of follow-up news release and will\nfile the technical report on SEDAR. The Middelvlei JV Project is owned and\noperated by Pamodzi Gold, in which the Company's South African subsidiary\nholds a 50% interest.\nAs disclosed in the Company's news release dated April 12, 2006, Pamodzi\nGold has completed an exploratory diamond drilling programme on two additional\nreef horizons on the Middelvei property called the Ventersdorp Contact Reef\n(VCR) and the Middelvlei Reef. These two additional reef horizons will not be\nincluded in the technical report to be prepared by the Snowden Group. The\nCompany has not yet received any drilling results from Pamodzi and is not\nexpected to until resource modelling has been completed and appropriate\nreports have been prepared.
