[{"type":"text","content":"\n Sunrise Diamonds PLC\n20 March 2006\n\n\n\n\n www.sunrisediamonds.com\n 20 March 2006\n\n LAB ANALYSIS YIELDS TWO MORE MICRO-DIAMONDS\n\n FROM ANOMALY 45 KIMBERLITE IN FINLAND\n\n\n • Results From Two 23kg Samples Taken From Two Separate Drill Holes\n\n • Total Of Seven Micro-Diamonds Now Found At Anomaly 45\n\nSunrise Diamonds plc ('Sunrise' or 'the Company') is pleased to advise that two\nfurther samples from follow up drilling of the Anomaly 45 kimberlite in the\nKuusamo kimberlite cluster have returned micro-diamonds.\n\nThe results follow further drill testing of the Anomaly 45 kimberlite in which 5\nholes were drilled in a NE-SW traverse across the kimberlite either side of the\ndiscovery hole 45-01-05 announced in October 2005. The traverse established a\nminimum width for the kimberlite of 55m in a NE-SW direction. The dimensions in\nthe opposite direction are yet to be established.\n\nOne micro-diamond was recovered from each of two separate samples of 23kg from\ntwo separate drill holes. The micro-diamonds were recovered from kimberlite\nsamples from drill holes 45-03-05 (23.6 kg taken from 5.6-23.1m down hole) and\n45-04-05 (23.2kg taken from 7.9-28.5m down hole) after caustic dissolution of\nthe kimberlite at the independent Kennecott Canada Exploration Inc. laboratory\nin Canada (Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025). All the samples analysed from the\nAnomaly 45 kimberlite have now returned micro-diamonds, a 26kg sample from drill\nhole 45-01-05 having yielded five micro-diamonds.\n\nAs a part of the ongoing exploration in the Kuusamo kimberlite cluster a ground\nmagnetic and electro-magnetic survey has now been completed over an 8 sq.km.\narea surrounding the Anomaly 45 and 47 kimberlites and several further targets\nhave been identified. These additional targets will be tested as a part of the\nwider drilling programme now in progress in the Kuusamo area.\nThe Company's exploration efforts in the Kaavi-Kuopio area are also continuing.\nA 28kg composite sample of existing drill core from the Koskeniemi kimberlite\nreturned no micro-diamonds but further sampling will take place in other known\nkimberlites from this area in the near future.\n\nFurther Info: Patrick Cheetham, Sunrise Diamonds plc.
