[{"type":"text","content":"\n Sunrise Diamonds PLC\n30 October 2007\n\n\n Sunrise Diamonds plc\n http://www.sunrisediamonds.com\n \n\n OCTOBER 30, 2007\n\n\n\nSUNRISE DIAMONDS NEARLY DOUBLES SIZE OF KIMBERLITE 14 IN DRILLING THREE PRIORITY\nKIMBERLITES IN FINLAND\n\n\n • 200kg Samples Shipped From Each of Three Pipes For Micro-Diamond Testing\n • Drilling Programme Result Of Reinterpretation of Historic Results\n\n • Kimberlite Indicator Sampling Currently In Progress On 9 Other Targets\n\n\n\nSunrise Diamonds plc (AIM:SDS) ('Sunrise Diamonds' or 'the Company') is pleased\nto announce that it has now completed drilling on three priority kimberlites in\nthe Company's Nordic Diamonds Joint Venture claim areas in the Kaavi-Kuopio\nregion of central Finland where it is earning up to a 75% interest from Canada's\nNordic Diamonds Inc.\n\n\nSamples of approx. 200kg have been collected from each kimberlite body and have\nnow been sent to SGS Laboratories in South Africa for micro-diamond extraction\nby caustic dissolution. Dissolution concentrates from these samples will then be\nsent to Mineral Services Laboratories in South Africa for micro-diamond picking,\ndiamond weighing and characterisation and, where possible, grade modelling.\n\nThe drill programme successfully sampled Kimberlites 10, 14 and 17 which were\nselected following encouraging mineral chemistry results, a reinterpretation of\nhistoric exploration results and based on the recommendations of Mineral\nServices Canada Inc, consultants to Sunrise Diamonds.\n\n\nThe Company is also pleased to advise that its drilling has demonstrated a\nsubstantial increase in size of Kimberlite 14 as well as the potential for\nfurther increases. Although historic drilling did not define the limits of this\nkimberlite, it has been previously thought to be small as the associated ground\nmagnetic anomaly covered an area of only 0.35ha.\n\n\nHowever, a step out drill hole completed by Sunrise Diamonds as part of the\nrecently completed programme shows that Kimberlite 14 extends to the north\nbeyond the limits of the associated ground magnetic anomaly. Here the kimberlite\nhas a lower ground magnetic response, appears to be wider and remains open along\nstrike to the north. It also remains open to the south and at depth from\nhistoric drilling and is now estimated to have a minimum surface area of 0.65ha.\n\n\nThe...
