[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n 31 March 2025\n \nSUNRISE RESOURCES PLC\n(\"Sunrise\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \nRetirement of Non-Executive Director\n \nSunrise Resources plc (ticker symbol 'SRES') wishes to announce that, following the recent appointment of Mr Adam Hainsworth as a non-executive director, Mr Roger Murphy has stepped down from his position as a non-executive director.\n \nMr Murphy has been a non-executive director of the Company since May 2016 and has served as Chairman of the Remuneration Committee during that period. Mr Murphy has stepped down to devote more time to family and his private business interests. Mr Hainsworth will assume the role of Chairman of the Remuneration Committee.\n \nCommenting today the Executive Chairman Mr Patrick Cheetham said:\n \n\"We are sorry to lose Roger from the Board. He will be sorely missed for the valuable advice he has given to the Board and management over a long period, but we wish him all the very best going forward.\"\n \nCommenting on his retirement Mr Murphy said:\n \n\"The QCA Code recommends that non-executive directors do not serve more than nine years and family and other business interests are also pushing me to free up time.
