Gold Oil PLC 24 August 2005 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 24 August 2005 GOLD OIL PLC ('Gold Oil' or the 'Company') Shareholdings The Company was informed on 23 August 2005 that at the close of business on 19 August 2005, Mr Ben Anderson has an interest in and is the registered holder of 22,500,000 Ordinary Shares of 0.025p each ('Ordinary Shares'), representing a total percentage holding of 6.51% of the Company's issued share capital. The Company was also informed on 23 August 2005 that at the close of business on 19 August 2005, further to a purchase of 22,500,000 Ordinary Shares, Mr Mark Pritchard has an interest in and is the registered holder of 42,750,000 Ordinary Shares, representing a total percentage holding of 12.38% of the Company's issued share capital. In addition, on 23 August 2005, the Company was informed that at the close of business on 19 August 2005, Mr Billy G. Underwood has reduced his holding by 45,000,000 Ordinary Shares. Mr Underwood now has a total holding of 29,000,000 Ordinary Shares or 8.39 % of the Company's issued share capital.
