[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n \n \n17 July 2023\n \nSulNOx Group Plc\n(the \"Company\" or \"SulNOx\")\n \nSignificant new Shipping Trial - Teekay and Forecast Technologies Limited\n \n(Aquis Stock Exchange: SNOX)\n \nTeekay to Pilot 'Smart' SulNOxEco Fuel Conditioner in Gibraltar and Singapore\nWorld-leading Marine Services Company Teekay Corporation (NYSE: TK \"Teekay\"), who recently celebrated their 50th anniversary and received \"Tanker Operator of the Year\" Award, have agreed to pilot SulNOxEco Fuel Conditioner, developed by SulNOx Group PLC, supported by Forecast Technology Limited (\"FTL\").\nThe announcement was made during Gibraltar Maritime Week at the end of June, highlighting Teekay's ambition to decarbonise and lead shipping's immediate efforts in the global energy transition.\nJimmy Redman, inventor of the SulNOxEco Fuel Conditioner and co-founder of SulNOx Group PLC stated, \"Teekay are a forward-thinking, established and globally recognised shipping company and we are pleased they have agreed to work with SulNOx as part of their sustainability drive. \nSulNOxEco Fuel Conditioner provides a much-needed immediate solution to the shipping sector to reduce fuel consumption, emissions and pollution from widely-used hydrocarbon liquid fuels, and our key benefits are supported by numerous verifications and tests by independent bodies and academia, case studies and testimonials.\nFor example, we recently announced success with a vessel owner on a 4 stroke engine, who conducted tests which showed an average reduction in fuel consumption of 10.5% over three months, leading to an expansion and roll out to other vessels. \nIn another recent announcement, independent engine emissions monitoring specialist Green Sea Guard B.V. (GSG), completed a one-year test program on a superyacht showing reductions in black carbon and particulate matter of over 99%. \nBy virtually fully combusting what would otherwise have been unburnt fuel normally emitted as particulate matter, this results in improved fuel efficiency. In addition, other benefits include improved lubricity, as verified by VPS at an average of over 17% on top of the strong detergency component which keeps engine systems clean.
