Through a developing relationship with ELEVEN SPORTS, two premium football matches (one each from Spain's LaLiga and Italy's Serie A) will be available live and free-to-air every match week on the STV Player.\n \nThe STV Player is the UK's fastest growing broadcaster video on demand service with 2.8m registered users. The partnership between STV and ELEVEN SPORTS supports the digital growth strategy of both companies and aims to broaden the range of premium content available on STV Player. It also follows the recent announcement that STV will act as exclusive digital sales agent for ELEVEN SPORTS across all digital platforms and sponsorship as they grow their premium sports business in the UK. Earlier this year, new content partnerships for STV Player were announced with Hopster and Little Dot Studios, as well as an agreement to launch STV Player to Virgin Media's 400,000 Scottish homes for the first time.\n \nThe partnership will launch this weekend with 14 matches from LaLiga (Spain) and Serie A (Italy), live and free on the STV Player, played from Friday 23 - Sunday 25 November. Beyond this weekend, ELEVEN SPORTS will make available one match from both LaLiga and Serie A to the STV Player every match week (two live matches in total) featuring some of the biggest teams and rivalries in the football world.\n \nRichard Williams, STV's Managing Director, Digital, said: \"This partnership reinforces our commitment to be Scotland's number one entertainment destination by offering a wider range of premium content to new audiences on the STV Player.
