[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 2388H STV Group PLC 18 June 2013 \n \n\n \n \nPRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE\n \nITV2 COMMISSIONS STV PRODUCTIONS TO MAKE SECOND SERIES OF FAKE REACTION\n \n18th June 2013\n \nITV2 has commissioned STV Productions to make a second series of comedy entertainment show Fake Reaction.\n \nThe 10 x 45'' episodes, up from eight episodes in series one, will air in 2014 with filming starting this autumn. The first series of Fake Reaction was broadcast earlier this year attracting a peak audience of over half a million viewers.\n \nHost Matt Edmondson (Totally Bonkers Guinness World Records, Radio 1, T4) will return for the second series along with regular team captains Joe Swash (I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now, EastEnders) and Ellie Taylor (Snog Marry Avoid?, Show Me the Funny), and resident games demonstrator Hot Meat.\n \nEach episode sees two celebrity teams forced to hide their natural reaction in a series of hilarious and sometimes shocking challenges. The celebrities put on their best poker face to undertake an array of outrageous trials, and the side who can best conceal their true reactions and fool the opposing team wins the game.\n \nGary Chippington, head of entertainment for STV Productions,said: \"We are absolutely delighted to be working with the team at ITV2 on a new series of Fake Reaction. We're looking forward to coming up with more riotous and ridiculous challenges for our celebrity guests and our regulars.\"\n \nDirector of Channels and Acquisitions at ITV, Angela Jainsaid: \"We're delighted that Fake Reaction is returning for a second series. With Matt's wit, Joe's unbelievable up for anything attitude and Ellie's charm, it's a great, fun watch\".\n \nThe commissioning editor is Claire Zolkwer, ITV Commissioning Editor, Comedy Entertainment.\n \nSTV Productions developed the Fake Reaction format with LA-based production company Kinetic Content.
