Pannell as a director of Stelco.\n\n\nMr. Pannell is a metallurgical engineer with over 35 years of experience\nin the mining and metals industry. Mr. Pannell was the Chief Executive Officer\nof Noranda Inc. and Falconbridge Limited from June 2002 to October 2006.\nCurrently, Mr. Pannell is a managing partner of Brookfield Asset Management\nLtd. and a director of Teck Cominco Ltd.\n\n\nCourtney Pratt, the Chairman of Stelco, commented: "We welcome Derek to\nStelco and the Board looks forward to benefiting from his considerable\nexperience."\n\n\nStelco regrets to announce that D. Anthony (Tony) Molluso, a former\ndirector of Stelco, passed away earlier this year.
