Star Navigation and Northern Airborne Technology Ltd 'NAT' Sign M.O.U.

TORONTO, Oct. 17 /CNW/ - Star Navigation Systems Group Ltd. (TSX.V: SNA
and OTC: SNAVF) is pleased to announce it has signed a memorandum of
understanding "M.O.U." with Northern Airborne Technology Ltd 'NAT Seattle Inc'
based in Seattle, Washington. This agreement promises to expand Star
Navigation's business and increase sales through a definitive co-operative
marketing agreement that focuses on leveraging each Company's regional
advantages throughout the world. The agreement includes the NAT-S JetLAN line
of on board servers and computing systems, and the CMS/ACARS product line.
Additionally, Star Navigation's flagship product - the ISMS (In-flight Safety
Monitoring Systems) is featured in the agreement.
NAT provides the potential for Star Navigation to significantly expand
its global reach to include North America, South America, Japan, Egypt and
Europe. Currently, Star Navigation is involved in marketing its own product in
China, India, Australia, Russia, C.I.S, Africa and the Middle East.
NAT www.northernairborne.com, has a strong presence in commercial
avionics, that include data interfaces, data communication, on-board computing
and data acquisitions systems. The M.O.U. provides Star Navigation the
opportunity for further global penetration by expanding its product offering
through closer integration with NAT's on-board computers.

Star Navigation is in discussions with airline operators worldwide for
the sale and installation of it flagship product, the ISMS (TM) - In Flight
Safety Monitoring System.
