(TSX-V: SNA)\n("Star" or the "Company"), a leading edge technology company focused on\nproviding Aerospace Solutions, both hardware and software platforms, to assist\naviation operators worldwide, is pleased to announce that India's Directorate\nGeneral of Civil Aviation ("DGCA") has contacted the Indian Ministry of\nCommunication & Information Technology, Department of Telecommunication\n(WPC-Wing) and has formally requested consideration of applications by airline\noperators for the allotment of required bandwidth for use with Star's\nTERRASTAR:Real-Time Monitoring System(TM).\n\n\nThis request not only demonstrates DGCA support for Star's\nTERRASTAR:Real-Time Monitoring technology, but also underlines the working\nrelationship that Star has with the Indian aviation authorities.\n\n\nMr. Dale F. Sparks, Chief Technical Officer of Star Navigation Systems\nGroup Ltd. stated, "We see great opportunity in the S.E Asia/Pacific aviation\nsector, and it is a significant part of our overall strategy. Acquiring the\nnecessary bandwidth for communications is critical to our success in this\nmarket and it begins with regulatory approvals from the relevant government\ndepartments and ministries.
