[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 1619M Staffline Group PLC 14 July 2014 \n \n\n\n\n\n\nFor Immediate Release\n\n\n14 July 2014\n\n\n\n\n \nSTAFFLINE GROUP PLC\n(\"Staffline\" or \"the Group\")\n \nAPPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR\nStaffline Group, the national outsourcing organisation providing people and operational expertise to industry and Welfare to Work services in the UK, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dame Christine Braddock as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.\nDame Christine Braddock has over thirty years' experience in Senior Leadership of Further Education organisations and has worked within the Probation Service, Home Office and Private Sector Colleges. During that time she has held roles including; Senior Education and Training Adviser for the Home Office, and Principal and Chief Executive of Birmingham Metropolitan College.\n \nChristine was awarded a CBE for service to Further Education and a DBE for services to the business and education community in the 2013 New Years' Honours list. Christine was the first public sector person appointed to be the President of the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and was the first woman to be appointed to the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP Board.\n \nShe has held a number of appointments at local Regional and National Level including; Chair of the Education and Skill Engineering UK and Director of the Quality Improvement Agency and has been a West Midlands council member of the CBI and Aston University for the last ten years.\n \nAndy Hogarth, Chief Executive of Staffline, commented:\n\"Further to our previous announcement that we are searching for two new Independent directors, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Dame Christine Braddock to Staffline's board.
