JAMES’S PLACE PLC\n \n \n MANAGEMENT SUCCESSION\n \n \n St. James’s Place plc announces that David Bellamy has decided to step \n down from the Board at the end of 2017 after 26 years as an executive, \n the last 11 of which he has served as Chief Executive Officer. Andrew \n Croft will succeed David as Chief Executive Officer* and Craig Gentle, \n currently Chief Risk Officer, will join the Board as Chief Financial \n Officer*. David will remain with the Group in an advisory capacity and \n will take on the role of non-executive Chairman of our new International \n operations.\n \n \n Sarah Bates, Chairman, said:\n \n \n “Under David’s leadership, St. James’s Place has gone from strength to \n strength. Client funds have more than quadrupled to over £75 billion, \n the Partnership has grown consistently to over 3,000 advisers today, and \n the Company has become an established member of the FTSE 100. On behalf \n of the Board, I thank David for his outstanding contribution throughout \n his 26 years of service.\n \n \n We are delighted to announce that Andrew Croft will become Chief \n Executive Officer when David steps down. Andrew has already played a key \n role in the success of the Group, serving as Chief Financial Officer for \n the past 12 years and is the ideal person to lead St. James’s Place. \n Craig Gentle will be appointed Chief Financial Officer.\n \n \n Having expanded the senior management team over the last couple of years \n we have an outstanding leadership group with real strength and depth for \n Andrew to lead going forward.â€\n \n \n David Bellamy, Chief Executive Officer, said:\n \n \n “It’s been an incredible journey and I am very proud of what we have \n achieved together since the Group commenced trading in January 1992. \n It’s been a great privilege to have led St. James’s Place through a \n period of great transformation and success over the last 11 years and I \n would like to thank the executive team and everyone in our community for \n making these achievements possible.
