[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC \n\n TETRA TECHNOLOGY SUPPLY AGREEMENTS \n\nThe Directors of Software Radio Technology plc (\"SRT\" or the \"Company\") are\npleased to announce that SRT has entered into agreements with Teltronic, S.A.U.\n(\"Teltronic\") of Spain and Selex Communications S.p.A. (\"Selex\") of Italy for\nthe supply of TETRA handset technology in the form of its RF ASIC. The initial\nagreements are worth a minimum of US$1.2 million over the next 16 months with\nfurther upside as handset sales increase.\n\nTeltronic is the only Spanish manufacturer of TETRA and other PMR (Professional\nMobile Radio) systems. The company manufactures and supplies TETRA equipment\nworldwide through an international network of distributors and SRT's technology\nis an integral element of this equipment.\n\nSelex is a wholly owned subsidiary of Finmeccanica Group and is based in\nFlorence, Italy. The company is the only Italian manufacturer of TETRA systems\nand last year was informally awarded the contract to supply the Italian\nnational TETRA system and is now awaiting the formal contract. In addition,\nSelex supplies its equipment worldwide. Again SRT's technology is an integral\nelement of this equipment.\n\nSimon Tucker, SRT's Managing Director said, \"Selex and Teletronic have been\nTETRA customers of SRT for some time.
