TCB\nhas combined its trusted local reputation and presence with the advantage of a\nlocally designed, developed and manufactured product to enter the rapidly\ngrowing China TETRA market. For the first time, Chinese buyers can purchase\nhandsets from a local manufacturer.\n\nSince entering a joint TETRA technology licence and development agreement in\n2004, TCB and SRT have worked closely together to develop the handset which has\nundergone extensive field trials with a range of customers to ensure and prove\nreliability and suitability for the specific needs of the local market.\n\nThe handset offers a complete range of advanced TETRA voice and data features\nand a performance and quality standard equal to handsets manufactured in\nEurope.\n\nTETRA networks are actively being rolled out across China and will be used for\na variety of communications from police to railway workers as well as\nprestigious events such as the Olympics. TCB is already working closely with\ncustomers in many of these market segments.\n\nMr Ma Yan, Vice President of TCB said: \"TCB has always focused on developing\nand manufacturing equipment for professional markets across China.
