[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC \n\n $1.1 million AIS order \n\nThe Directors of Software Radio Technology plc (\"SRT\" or the \"Company\") are\npleased to announce that SRT Marine Technology Limited (\"SRT Marine\") has\nsigned an AIS distribution agreement and received an initial order worth US$1.1\nmillion from a new international distributor.\n\nUnder the agreement SRT Marine will supply the distributor with AIS Class B PCB\nmodules for use in a range of AIS-enabled products. The initial order is to\nfulfil existing orders held by the distributor and is expected to be delivered\nwithin the next six months.\n\nThe distributor is a large multinational company with an extensive sales and\ndistribution network and established brand. This network will be used to access\nthe growing number of AIS opportunities around the world.\n\nIn addition SRT Marine has agreed to support the distributor with an\ninternational marketing campaign targeting 500,000 commercial fishing vessels\nwhich present a major potential opportunity for AIS Class B. This campaign is\nexpected to commence in November and last for up to six months.\n\nSimon Tucker, Group Managing Director of SRT plc said, \"The initial $1.1m order\nis extremely encouraging and reflects the distribution and brand power of this\ncustomer, as well as the rapidly growing global AIS market.
