Agreement with Wright Design

SOFTWARE RADIO TECHNOLOGY PLC SRT contracts Wright Design to develop its own range of TETRA products for sale in Europe Software Radio Technology plc ("SRT") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Wright Design to create a range of low cost, user friendly OEM TETRA professional mobile radio ("PMR") products. Over the last five years SRT has developed a complete TETRA technology solution which has been sold in various forms to eight manufacturers in Europe and Asia. The technology, which has been designed to be flexible and to enable extensive local customisation, will provide a substantial expansion of choice for TETRA equipment buyers. SRT believes a significant market exists in Europe for a low cost, user friendly OEM handset which traditional PMR dealers, network operators and other interested parties can buy, brand as their own and customise on a per user basis. As announced on 29 March 2007, and following the success of a similar combined OEM and technology licence business model in the Marine business, SRT decided to develop and produce its own TETRA OEM products to address this market. SRT has chosen Wright Design to develop the mechanics and styling of the final products. Wright Design displayed a deep knowledge of the PMR market place and a genuine enthusiasm for the project.
