[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nNORFOLK COUNTY, ON, Sept. 18 /CNW/ - Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd.\n(SHL:TSX-V) is pleased to report on the exploration activities on the Deer\nLake basin property and the Turner's Ridge property in western Newfoundland.\n\n\nDeer Lake Basin\n\n\n---------------\n\n\nThe Company drilled 890 metres in 15 holes on the North Brook property.\nMultiple layers of grey, flat-lying sediment were encountered in each hole but\nonly low levels of uranium were detected. The Deer Lake property comprises\n2,468 claims covering 61,700 hectares.\n\n\nElsewhere, newly discovered uranium occurrences are being drilled at\nIncinerator Road and the Dan Zone.\n\n\nDetermination Zone\n\n\n------------------\n\n\nDrilling on the Determination Zone on the Turner's Ridge property has\nbeen rescheduled for October so that a larger drill rig can be employed to\npenetrate heavy overburden. The Turner's Ridge property includes 954 claims\ncovering 23,850 hectares.\n\n\nThe company recently completed a radiometric and magnetic airborne survey\nof the Deer Lake Basin and the Turner's Ridge properties. The survey was flown\nover 9,167 line kilometres at 100 metre spacings.
