Spruce Ridge Intersects 1.3 metres of 8.07 g/t Au at Nora Lake

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nNORFOLK COUNTY, ON, Feb. 27 /CNW/ - Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd.\n(SHL:TSX-V) today announced additional drill results returned from its 2,000\nmetre shallow diamond drilling program at its Nora Lake gold property. The\nNora Lake property, (89%-owned by Spruce Ridge), lies in the\nBeardmore-Geraldton gold camp approximately 20 km south of Kodiak Exploration\nLtd's Hercules and Golden Mile gold discovery in northern Ontario.\n\n\nAssay results have now been received from drill holes NL-06-07 to\nNL-08-07. Hole NL-08-07 intersected 8.072 gpt gold over 1.3 metres. Hole\nNL-07-07 intersected 1.518 gpt gold over 2.5 metres and 1.389 gpt over 4.5\nmetres. The mineralized interval occurs at the contact between altered and\nsheared mafic volcanics and an intrusive quartz-feldspar porphyry.\nMineralization is associated with quartz veining, pervasive silicification and\nheavily disseminated arsenopyrite. Management is very pleased with the early\nsuccess of this initial drilling program. An aggressive drilling program will\nresume in the spring. The main stripped area\nexposes mineralization over a length of 130 metres and a width of at least\n44 metres.
